The Kerry Health and Nutrition Institute was established by Kerry, the market leader in taste and nutrition solutions. Its aim is to provide information on scientific research and communicate the latest developments in nutrition science and health to further highlight nutritional advancements in food and beverage product development. The Kerry Health and Nutrition Institute is supported by a Scientific Advisory Council.
The Scientific Advisory Council includes four independent advisors who are recognised leaders in nutrition science and research; Dr Sharon Donovan, Ph.D., Dr Roger A. Clemens, DrPH, CFS, CNS, FIFT, FACN, FIAFST, Dr. Christine Loscher, Ph.D., and Dr. Joanne Slavin, Ph.D., RD. A governance committee provides oversight over the institute’s activities, which is chaired by Albert McQuaid, Ph.D. Chief Technology Officer of Kerry’s Functional Ingredients & Actives division. The institute is lead by Kerry’s Director of Global Nutrition, Satya Jonnalagadda, Ph.D., MBA, RD.
